Big Day for Tulane

Today Tulane announced its plans for an on-campus football stadium. Its going to hold 30,000 fans and create a much needed home field for the Tulane football. Two days ago Tulane named Curtis Johnson its new head coach who recently was the Saints' Wide Receivers Coach. It seems to be a great fit and has everybody excited. If there is one thing that I wish I had during my time as a Tulane student I would most definitely say an on-campus stadium. It is not only great news for Tulane but also for the city of New Orleans. The new stadium will add a great dynamic to Tulane as well as New Orleans. More students can develop a passion for their university and New Orleans schools can also use the new venue. However, I do have one nag any promotional tool for the stadium needs to get rid of the color lime green. Lime green is not intimidating, at least the last time I checked. This is a exciting time for Tulane and hopefully a catalyst of support for Tulane athletics. I recommend visiting tulanestadium.com to read more about it especially the history behind the whole process.
